Tony Brummel may rip off bands. His business practices may be suspect. He might even be a dick.
But for a period Victory Records put out a lot of great releases. At least to me.
To purists. Not so much.
Integrity. Earth Crisis. Snapcase. (One Life Crew.)
Were some dismissed as metal? Sure. But they were hardcore to me. Hardcore to most people. At the time. Everyone has a case of denial these days.
Only the Strong MCMXCIII. I had thought the track listing was off. But upon further listen. Maybe not. For Livewire.

...you forgot to mention he makes lousy music too - Your statement is very true...everything aside his label did put out some classics - Looking through my Lps and CDs the collection is chock full of Victory
