So these guys have gotten pretty big huh? It would have looked a lot cooler if I posted this last year when I bought it.

I'm so behind on posting my purchases I think they peaked and dropped off before I even got to write this.

French. It sounds cooler than I'll ever be. Retro yet modern. So good.

Newer Sounds

Today this old man learned a new thing.

"B-Town"

Apparently, a number of the newer British bands I've been enjoying over the past year or two are coming out of this scene. Peace. JAWS. And Swim Deep.

All are fantastic.

Swim Deep - Where the Heaven Are We. amazon.com. New.

King Krule isn't bad. But I really don't get the hype.

He kind of bores me. And I like a lot of "boring" music.

Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe more listens are in order.

King Krule. iTunes.

Solid rock. Welsh I believe. Worth checking out.

(Holy shit I'm behind on posts. By the time I'm getting to these they aren't so "new" anymore.)

Retry

I was really excited by "Talkin' Loud" when I first read about the label back in the nineties. But when I started picking up releases I was incredibly let down.

Fast forward twenty years or so and I decided to try again.

Much better. So much so I think I should dig into the back catalog.

Galliano - The Plot Thickens. Used.
