Nigel wanted to know. "New Order or The Smiths?"

I wasn't aware that I had to make a choice.

"New Order or The Smiths?"

"Both?"

I was told I couldn't like both. In England you couldn't like both.

This is what Nigel told me the first time we met.

"I guess New Order."

New Order is my favorite band. If given a choice. They will always come out on top.

I don't choose New Order at the expense of The Smiths. I like both.

Then again. I spent a few years choosing Blur over Oasis. Looking at my history. I'm not above taking illogical positions. Over the unimportant.
