I bought the vinyl at the Princeton Record Exchange soon after it was released.
On black.
For years it was the only format I owned. Inconvenient to say the least.
Like all of my records, it was sold.
I eventually replaced it with a compact disc. Although not immediately. A Manic Compression gap in my collection.
Quicksand - Manic Compression. eBay. Used.

I bought this when it came out, largely on the strength of the single "Thorn In My Side". It would be a few months yet before I would hear not 1, not 2 but 3 different bands at the same YMCA hardcore show in Fairless Hills do songs from Slip.
Shallow was one of those bands, in fact. Thanks for posting this... I had sold this off long ago, so long ago iTunes was not yet a gleam in Steve Jobs' eye.
You won't be disappointed. It's a great album.
