I was singing the praises of Survival in a recent post. My friend said The Current was Outspoken at the top of their game.

Upon repeated listening of both, he might be right.

Survival Revival

Do people get into Outspoken? I thought they had been relegated to hardcore footnote but then I saw they were playing shows again. This surprised me.

I always thought they were great. But even when they were a current band I didn't know a lot of people that were into their releases.

The Survival record is probably my favorite.

I first purchased this compilation during a visit to Syracuse University. I was there with my family to look at the school. At the time I wanted no part of it.

All eyes were on New England.

I applied as a concession to my mother.

And somehow ended up there.
