Slap Bass

Generally people tend to cite the seven inch as their favorite Turning Point release. I like it, but I don't think it comes close to the LP. Easily in my top ten favorite hardcore releases. I might be able to convince myself it's in my top five. I think it's perfect in every way.

Turning Point - It's Always Darkest...Before the Dawn. Used.

I like the 7" the least. I love the LP - one of my favorites - but the last stuff is on another level.

I think what's great about TP is you can really see them grow with each release. I like seeing that in hardcore bands rather than churning out the same sound release after release.

For some reason I think a lot of "hardcore" folks view that growth as "selling out." So they'll always reference the early stuff as the best stuff.
