Old

In retrospect I probably should have stuck around This Is Hardcore and watched Kid Dynamite. But I had seen them a lot in the past. And I'm old. And it was late.

Which is a terrible excuse because I think they're a few years older than me.

Kid Dynamite. Mike. Used.

What is the current level of enthusiasm for Kid Dynamite? They stormed onto the scene with the first record but it seemed like the split and second LP, though good, failed to live up to the hype. Coupled with the rise of the Boston scene - which had a general disdain for the band - their legacy seemed to be "oh they were good for the time and place."

Of course, anything that follows Lifetime is destined to be underwhelming to a degree.

I don't think I could give a fair assessment of their popularity. I think people are still way into them, but I'm living in a Philadelphia bubble.

Anymore I think most "younger" people would rather see Paint It Black.
