Probably because I never thought of Big Country as a mopey band. Reserving rock n roll suicide (in my mind) for the Kurt Cobains and Ian Curtises of the world.
And I realize that doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of mental illness. But I can't help what I think.

Wow. I didn't know that. Sad. Big Country was so upbeat sounding. At least the album that had the song "Big Country" on it. To be honest, I've never really listened to much after that, I may have to now...
