I bought this album because I liked the cover. I also bought it because it was on Rough Trade. At the time I was buying anything on Rough Trade. I couldn't tell you why. But I was.
For me this album stands the test of time. I listened to it a lot then. I listen to it a lot now.
It's one of the few releases of the early 2000s that I still listen to with some regularity.
I saw them once. It was a poorly attended show at The Church. I didn't care. They were great.
I don't like the follow up nearly as much. I haven't heard anything after Free On the Streets. At this point I could probably pick up everything for a few bucks.
