Branding

I enjoy Odd Future. But I can't help but think they've gone overboard on the non-music aspects of their career. Too much, too soon.

Wu-Tang already had a handful of instant classics under their belt before giving the world Wu-Wear.

I can't really fault them for making money. But I wonder if we'll be talking about them in twenty years.

One Was Enough

Chad wanted to know if I had anything more than the debut.

He wanted more songs before seeing them live.

This was the only additional item I could provide.

Not that I was any help. The show was a few days ago.

With A.R.E. Weapons and/or Glass Candy?

I might have seen them play. A few years ago.

It's entirely possible I'm confusing them with someone else. Something else.

Regardless. I bought this based solely on the artwork. The sticker/liner combination.

Their sound was unknown to me. Or not remembered.

One or the other.
