Biding Time

After forgetting to purchase the import upon its release, I was forced to look for a copy on eBay. It was often listed, but would go for amounts I was never willing to pay.

Eventually, I stopped looking.

This past year I decided to fill out my Super Furry Animals discography. I finally picked up the release. For well under a dollar.

Freebie

The import music magazine samplers were an excellent introduction to many bands.

Well worth the ten dollar price of the magazine.

Major chains like Barnes & Noble wouldn't provide the disc or cassette with the magazine. Of course this never stopped me from parting with my hard earned cash for the sampler-free version.

Whenever possible I would make my purchases at international newsstands. Thankfully there happened to be one down the street from my office in New York.

The four Select samplers I have are the best of the bunch.
