What Do I Know

Correct me if I'm wrong.

But I am under the impression that Lush is criminally overlooked by kids today.

Lush - Nothing Natural. Amazon.com. Used.

Druids

There was a time when I would dabble in a little Dungeons & Dragons.

I was young. It was fun.

I don't know what the equivalent is these days. World of Warcraft? That seems a bit intense for this old man.

Update: What a fun way to waste time.

Hawkwind - In the Beginning. Amazon.com. Used.

Abroad

I like the idea of moving to New Zealand. If it wasn't so far away.

I like the idea of moving to South Africa. Slightly less difficult.

I like the idea of moving to England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales. Even less difficult.

If I ever manage to move abroad, I think Canada is in my only option.

One Two Three Four Plus

Erasure generally goes above and beyond with their singles. They often feature four or more tracks. A throwback to better days of the compact disc single.

I was disappointed when I saw In My Arms only had two tracks. The disappointment was eased by the "Heart of Glass" cover.

Erasure - In My Arms. Amazon.com. Used.

Surprise!

I really wanted to see The Crying Game when it came out. I convinced Mike Beard and Mike Gioella to go with me.

I was aware of the big "reveal." Mike Beard might have been aware. Mike Gioella was not.

What a reaction!

Save Ferris

You might recognize it from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Listening to the album in its entirety is well worth your time.

I'd like to dabble in additional Swiss music. But Yello might be the best. If not only.

Yello - Stella. AKA Music. Bargain bin.

Holiday Weekend

I have a three day weekend, a cold and a recovering dog.

I will do everything in my power to catch up on my posts.

James - Gold Mother. Amazon.com. Used.

Top Forty

I bought this for "What I Am."

It turns out the rest of the album is pretty good as well.

If you like Echo & The Bunnymen you'll like this.
