I forget the context. Or whether it is the novel, the movie or both.

But I enjoy the part in The Commitments in which the venue owner will only book bands that sound like Echo & The Bunnymen. I'd go there often.

The completest in me says discography at any cost.

But my arbitrary (self-imposed) rules aim to keep me cheap.

I was surprised Anasarca released a discography.

They are a great band. But I was under the impression that me and three friends were the only people listening to them. Then again. I tend to live in my own little bubble.

It always surprises me that Love Battery was never a bigger band.

Dayglo is as good as many of the big "grunge" records of the era. It holds up just as well, or even better.

I know they had a brief moment on a major label. I can only hope they had a taste of the wads of cash being thrown around Seattle in the early-nineties.
