I really like the LP on Sub Pop. But a lot of the other stuff has been pretty underwhelming.

It always surprises me which Sub Pop singles I find digital copies of without a lot of effort. This is one.

I have the most difficulty finding what I would consider to be "bigger" bands.

Seaweed. The Spinanes. Hazel.

Perhaps they aren't "bigger" bands. And I have a warped perception of what Sub Pop was.

What a comp! No really. What a comp.

Pretty much every artist is a heavy hitter from the era.

And it reminded me that I need to repurchase the Tad albums sooner rather than later.

Love Battery continues to fascinate me.

They don't necessarily fit with the Seattle sound. But they do.

Certainly one of the more interesting yet overlooked bands of the era.

It always surprises me that Love Battery was never a bigger band.

Dayglo is as good as many of the big "grunge" records of the era. It holds up just as well, or even better.

I know they had a brief moment on a major label. I can only hope they had a taste of the wads of cash being thrown around Seattle in the early-nineties.
