Weird Sisters

I am in the process of re-reading the Harry Potter books. So I can finally get around to reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

After reading each book I am watching the corresponding movie. Last week I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It reminded me that I need to find the Weird Sisters tracks.

Next up. Book five. My least favorite of the bunch.

I don't usually watch late night talk shows.

Although I randomly caught the Pulp appearance on Letterman.

My roommate freshman year had it on.

I wish I could find it on YouTube.

I remember it being good. It might not have been.

I loved it. It was ridiculous, but I didn't care. I'd watch the video over and over.

I never got around to buying anything else. Even though I've wanted to purchase the full-length for a few years now. I should get on that.

At Ryan's insistence I watched the video for "Bad Cover Version."

It did not disappoint.

A few days later he gave me a DVD of Pulp videos.

To this day, I have yet to watch it.

Instead I sit here thinking about it. I should be putting it in the player. Capping the day with a little Cocker.

I got into Pulp with His 'n' Hers.

Followed up with Different Class.

I purchased Separations on a whim.

Abort! Abort! Abort!

They had a number of early releases. I didn't know. Now I did.

I wasn't prepared for that disc.

Over the next ten years I criticized early Pulp at every opportunity.

Last month I picked up two pre-His releases.

Trusting my teen ears, always a mistake.
