Searching For the Light

Well not searching for Supertouch. But for years I casually sought out Pepe Deluxe. I forgot about them until recently, when I realized I could probably find their releases for dirt cheap these days. I was right.

Emperor Norton

I'm not sure how I first stumbled upon Emperor Norton. It might have been through Ladytron. Or it might have been through Momus or Kahimi Karie (I can only assume one of the two linked me to Fantastic Plastic Machine).

I really don't know.

That being said. It's been a fairly consistent label over the years. I'll always take a chance on an Emperor Norton act.

I got into Takako Minekawa and Kahimi Karie around the same time.

Kahimi Karie is my preference. Looks-wise and music-wise.

That being said, I haven't met a Takako Minekawa record I didn't like.
