Speaking Of

Reading through the NME reviews yesterday I saw there was a new Dodgy track out there.

Reunions for all.

Longevity

I never thought of Dodgy as a band with a long career.

They certainly have plenty of releases though.

Summertime

Dodgy is summer.

Sure, that might be a laze assessment since they reference summer in one of their biggest hits.

But they're still summer rock.

Odds

It's 2010.

I wonder if I'm the only person in the world working to complete the Dodgy compact disc discography.

The Struggle

How much can I really say about Dodgy?

And I'll struggle with it again next month after Good Enough arrives in the mail.

Getting There

Another piece in the discography puzzle.

I believe completing the Dodgy discography to be a fairly manageable goal.

Low output.

Certainly not as difficult as my Blur attempt.

And by difficult I mean time consuming. Money consuming.

Apologies

Gizmo has not been well this week and I've been spending most of my days making sure he is comfortable.

Regular posting to return tonight.

Chevy

Imagine my surprise when I heard Dodgy during the commercial break.

I was watching football.

It seemed to be a strange and random choice for a truck advertisement.

"Are they playing Dodgy? I think that's Dodgy in the background."

I often wonder how certain songs make their way into commercials. Particularly older songs that were never exactly hits in America.

Hip and upcoming artists I can understand. Apple. Volkswagen.

But Dodgy? Really?

I hope they saw an increase in sales because of the campaign. Probably not.
