I always assumed this was a Dischord release.

the vinyl version is actually on Desoto with no Atlantic logos anywhere on the record.
you should check out the remastered version, it actually does sound a lot better (and i never had a problem with the original version either). also, it has bonus b-side tracks from the "savory" cd5 which are all really good as well.
