I'm instantly reminded of The Smiths. But at the same time they don't sound like The Smiths. High Hazels take me back. Like so many other current acts. But they are certainly modern and stand on their own.

I'm really enjoying everything I've heard from Temples. Sadly I missed them a few months ago. And I'll likely miss them again next month because I don't know if I'm up for a "Morgan's Pier" event...

As for why you should check them out? They sound a bit like T-Rex? That should be enough for anyone.
