Negligence

I will make up for it this weekend.
All of your forgotten favorites. And the pop music I spend my money on.
The Stone Roses - Love Spreads. eBay. Used.

Real

OnXPoint - Demo. Used.

Bluegrass State
Endpoint is doing a reunion show.
Why couldn't it be Falling Forward?
I'd take that trip to Louisville.
I was there once. Briefly. Before driving to Lexington.
All I remember is a Colonel Sanders statue in the airport.
Xenomania
Recently I've developed a bit of a Xenomania habit.
It's gone from casual interest to obsession.
I spent an hour the other night debating whether to buy the Alex Gardner single digitally or on compact disc. I've yet to come to a decision.
That being said, most of my recent focus has been reserved for Florrie.
Thankfully she's been providing free remixes to satisfy my needs.

Until Then

Hint hint.
Ressurection - I Refuse. Used.

Hang the DJ

Love of Refused transcends hardcore. Love of Refused moves into Hot Topic territory. Especially the later releases.
People should listen to Ink & Dagger instead.
But in the absence of that, stick to this era.
Refused - Everlasting. Used.
Tee Till Death

I'd like to know more about the Cabal shirt Rob Fish is wearing in the album art.
It's not a basketball jersey, but appears to be a licensed NBA product. It is sleeved, not a tank.
Is this a one off Cabal item?

On Singles

At least that's what I gathered while searching for Robyn and Alex Gardner singles today. Not that iTunes was much help.
Amazon.co.uk here I come. It's been too long.
The Stone Roses - Ten Storey Love Song. eBay. Used.
Found

No case. No art. All disc.
An unremarkable compilation. But worth a listen. You can't go wrong with Rain On the Parade.
It's A Verb. Used.

Singles Start

In all of its glorious excess.
This being the standout single.
The Stone Roses - Begging You. eBay. Used.
Experiment

He was partial to James after Laid. And had always been partial to Brian Eno.
His worlds collided.
James - Wah Wah. AKA Music. Bargain bin.
Sophomore

I especially like finding the albums that don't have the hit single. Too many second and third efforts are disregarded by the listening public. Making me the bargain bin beneficiary.
Soul II Soul - Vol. II: 1990 - A New Decade. Long In the Tooth. Bargain bin.

Comedy? Or Euro?

At the very least, tongue in cheek.
I don't know much about them. Beyond being Refused.
A free acquisition, it was the first I had ever heard of them.
Final Exit - Umea. Used.

Changes

Not a bad departure, but certainly different.
Those first few records are great. As far as I know, they're still together. Still playing. Still recording. Although I haven't heard the more recent releases.
Harvest - Transitions. Used.

Meh

I first bought it because it was pre-Inside Out.
I think that's why most people first picked up their releases.
I'm sure that continues to be the case. Although pre-Rage Against the Machine might be the bigger draw these days.
Hard Stance. Used.
Missed Opportunity

Search

And by cheap I mean under five dollars.
It's something I've wanted for years. As much as you can want something without making any real effort to find it.
Endpoint - Catharsis. Used.
OCD

It's not worth explaining, but it makes sense in my head. I once tried to explain it to Cathy. She looked at me like I was crazy. Rightfully so.
Now I keep it to myself.
Because of these "rules" Viva! Roxy Music was queued up for a little over five months.
I hope the wait was worth it.
Roxy Music - Viva! Roxy Music. eBay. Used.

Rite of Passage

At least that's when my friends stumbled on the debut. Independent of each other for the most part.
Violent Femmes. Amazon.com. Used.

Vehicle

But I've always loved This Crying, This Screaming, My Voice Is Being Born. "Vehicle" is such an amazing song.
The Day the Sun Went Out also holds up well.
After that, my Boy Sets Fire knowledge is spotty. I'm sure I'll eventually do some reanalyzing via the bargain bin.

Rarebit

Everything he touches is interesting. Even if it isn't to your taste. Interesting.
Gruff Rhys - Yr Atal Genhedlaeth. Amazon.com. New.

Thank You
Nick was kind enough to offer me the Christ demo via email.
Thank you Nick.
If you like Christ you should check out his new band. It features members of Christ, Memorial Day, Prema and Bad Luck 13:
I was a bit hasty in uploading the Christ demo. The tracks are listed below.

Olds

It was a benefit and a book release.
I still don't own the book.

Anti-Matter.
